Amanda Cornett, MPH, is the Associate Director for the Center for Public Health Quality. She provides leadership, program management, curriculum design and quality improvement (QI) expertise, which helps CPHQ develop and implement both state and national QI initiatives. Amanda has over 10 years of experience in QI. Prior to her public health work, she provided support and management for QI initiatives in conjunction with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the RAND Corporation, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and NC Area Health Education Centers (AHEC). She has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina with a focus on Health Behavior and Health Education.
