WHO SHOULD APPLY
- Staff, leaders, managers whose responsibilities include (or will include) supporting QI initiatives and the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) culture and infrastructure in their organization or in the organizations they serve.
- Prerequisite: Must have at least one year of experience applying QI using the Model for Improvement and /or Lean OR successful completion of the Center for Public Health Quality QI 101 Program.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The overall goal of this program is to train state and local health department staff to become Quality Improvement Advisors. QIAs provide QI support within their organization and assist leaders with creating a CQI culture and infrastructure. Successful participants will receive a QI Advisor Certificate from the Center for Public Health Quality and will be prepared to achieve Public Health Lean Certification.
